Dalia Salad

SALAD RECIPES

Ingredients:

  1. ½ cup broken wheat (Daliya) / quinoa

  2. ½ tsp oil for cooking

  3. Salt to taste

  4. 1 cup cucumber halves

  5. 1 cup chopped tomatoes

  6. 1 cup blanched broccoli florets

  7. 1 cup sliced and blacked mushroom

  8. 1 cup lettuce, torn into small pieces

  9. ¼ cup finely chopped mint leaves

  10. 1 ½ tbsp lemon juice

  11. Freshly grounded black pepper to taste.

Instructions:

  1. Boil enough water in a deep non-stick pan, add the salt and oil and mix well.

  2. Add the broken wheat/qunioa, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 7 minutes.

  3. Drain well with cold water.

  4. Combine all the ingredients along with the cooked broken wheat in a deep bowl and toss well.

  5. Serve immediately.
